I understand the idea, but it seems to be region-specific (this Line Today issue is the most important one I guess). Tbh, I still don't like the idea of unblocking Google Analytics in general, but I can understand why it might be necessary.

We can add something like "AdGuard SDN unbreak filter" which will include this kind of wide exclusions and let people decide on their own if they want to use it.

Thank you very much.
My thought is to let users do choice and take the risk by themselves after users understand the risk.

In the past, AG for Android can't do DNS filtering.
It also didn't block Google Analytics on DNS level.
Still have HTTPS filtering for blocking Google Analytics, which is enough.

Users add more and more hosts files but meet more incorrect blocking.
Especially, you'll let users subscribe to hosts files/filters for DNS filtering in AG for Android v3.x.

When users report incorrect blocking, it may be caused by custom filters subscriptions.
AG team can add the domain into this default whitelist even if the cause isn't from AG SDN filter.
I think such kind of default whitelist is helpful.

You decide the new filter' name.))
But I think AG DNS unbreak filter is suitable.
Users may use not only SDN filter but also other custom hosts files.

I add some examples...
Except for AG SDN filter, users may subscribe to other hosts files in the future.
We actively make the default whitelist for solving incorrect blocking and anti-adblock on DNS level, which is better.

Users report issues.
AG filters developers can collect and add those domains which can't be blocked into the default whitelist only for DNS filtering.

@AdamWr

This is my whitelist for only DNS filtering in my router.
Unblocking them won't cause anti-adblock or incorrect blocking.
Although we unblock them on DNS level, we still can block them or make better rules in HTTPS filtering.
I think users have the right to unblock them for avoiding meeting anti-adblock or incorrect blocking and take the risk by themselves.
But you know most users have no the related knowledge.
That's why the default whitelist for only DNS filtering is necessary.

For anti-adblock of videos on 4gTV website when using iOS devices, need to additionally unblock the below domains, but it's not worth.
googleads.g.doubleclick.net
pubads.g.doubleclick.net

BTW, I meet trouble when I subscribe to hosts files in my router and only want to unblock certain sub-domains.

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/r-a-y/mobile-hosts/master/AdguardDNS.txt

I use Tomato firmware by shibby for my router and find an strange thing.
ex: 0.0.0.0 google-analytics.com in AdguardDNS.txt.
If I add www.google-analytics.com in my router's whitelist, www.google-analytics.com still can't be resolved.
The DNS response is 0.0.0.0.
I must first add google-analytics.com in my router's whitelist.
Simply unblocking sub-domains is invalid in my router.
I need to first unblock the whole domains, which is bad.

I disagree the rule, @@||doubleclick.net^.

That's all the matter of a setup. All of my devices have client-side blocker installed, so those occasional FPs and anti-adblock trigger by doubleclick are not worth my time to be spent.
