It doesn't work for me, the module says it's working but it isn't (like the previous host module I was using)

I have the same issue before. The simplest solution is to set the browser to a custom profile rather than default unmount by ksu

Can you share your custom profile for the browser here please?

Here is how i did to get it working :
Uninstall or pause Adaway.
Uninstall existing systemless host.
Delete all hosts in /date/adb/***
Reboot
Install systemless
Reboot
Enable adaway.
Also, you might have to disable protected DNS in chrome and disable private DNS in network settings (Personnaly I'm using one.one.one.one (cloudflare).

It's fully working with kernelsu on stock android 14 on my pixel 6a.

You got it wrong, the problem isn't kernelsu itself, it's the zygisknext module (since v4-0.9.0-178)

Do not grant root privileges to browsers while changing default to custom is already okay, theres' no further configuration. It's possibly shamiko causes the problem.

I removed shamiko and set the custom profile on the browser, but it still doesn't work. I tried with both the umount module option (in the custom profile) on and off.
I'm using kiwi browser as a temporary fix because it's chromium based and it includes extensions compatibility (the only chromium based one that does it, at least known to me).

It seems that Adaway does not work anywhere on your device, where my case is it only applies anywhere but not Chrome/Edge
