Install on Windows is very slow about setup-go

Any movement on this? Go install still by far dominates the time used.

I see this too. I'd be interested to know why it's slow on windows but not linux. Anyone dug in?

Go 1.17 and windows-latest seem to be working well now. Thank you!

I've been getting this on my project:

Setting up on Windows seems to consistently always take at least 30 seconds more than on Ubuntu or MacOS (for a min. total of 1 minute).
