text in google search bars is dark-on-dark and unreadable about deluminate

I am able to reproduce this only on "Keep Images Normal" mode. Looks like it's due to Google using a 1x1 pixel transparent background image for the input field (for some insane reason), which causes the extension to uninvert the field, causing the text to return to its default black.

sigh Shit like this is why I hate the web.

I'll work on figuring this out. If you (or anyone else for that matter) have any good ideas for fixing this issue in the general case, I'm all ears.

This issue seems resolved by upgrading to Mavericks

I can still reproduce this issue when running in "Keep images normal" mode due to the extension attempting to keep that box uninverted because of the background image. A true fix would probably involve special-casing 0% alpha PNGs (which is probably detectable in this case, but I'm not sure about the general case). Speaking hypothetically, it might also be worth being more aggressive in deluminating text fields (e.g., forcing the text to white on black?) with an option.
