IX TT menu is broken on Ubuntu 14.04.1 LTS/Brackets 1.0.0-15191 about bracketstoix

Thanks for reporting the bug.
My ubuntu version runs on virtualbox, and it's too slow for regular testing.

I will ask you to follow these steps (these steps I tested in windows, but in Ubuntu hopefully are the same):

1. Download the source (since it's minified for faster startup time)
   https://github.com/apptoix/bracketstoix/archive/master.zip
2. Unzip it to the extension folder (you might backup the plug-in source code):
   In Brackets Menu->Help->Show extensions folder.
   It's on extensions/user/bracketstoix
3. Open developer tools:
   Brackets Menu->Debug->Show developer tools.
4. On developer tools, refresh (F5):
5. Report me the error and the line it show in the developer tools console.

Hopefully, it will prompt an error. It might be a brackets service that is not active in Ubuntu.

Hi,
thanks for the fast reply. Yes the steps are the same on Ubuntu.

Alas, there are no messages in the console that relate to bracketstoix.

I also removed all extensions except bracketstoix and repeatedthe tests. No menu is shown and no message appears.

What now?

Hi,
It's strange that there is no error happening.
Tomorrow, since here it's almost mid-night, I will send you a version full of console.log for testing.
That version will allow us to trace what it's happening, after I will ask you to send me the output log.

Hi, I was able to run Ubuntu virtualbox properly, trace and solve the bug.
I have done the plugin update, it should work now.

If you feel generous, proofreading the German translation of the plugin would be most welcome.
Germany is among the top most popular users of this plug-in.
At the moment I don't support German, but I could do all the translations, but they would need to proofread.
