I did quick test with 1 million iterations and profiled heap with this tool: https://github.com/c4milo/node-webkit-agent
At least I didn't see any evidence of memory leaks in JS object space. Can you test it out with the profiling tool and check what the heap contains after memory?

Closing this as the test is no longer available and a lot of improvements have been made that would solve some potential memory issues. If you still have issues. Feel free to re-open or create a new issue.
