Oddly enough, it worked on Safari but not Google Chrome, so it might have to do with my permissions settings on Chrome.

@ksemanur8 thank you for reporting.
It was caused by browsers security settings.
The link was to server which was hosting files over unencrypted HTTP.
This is no-no in 2023 :)
